Spring Like Day Dyepot Dyeing
Here are some hand spun, hand dyed yarns that you can see at CT Sheep & Wool Festival on April 27th!
Yarns Spun for a Special Project!!
Sometimes it is just fun to put together yarn that I have spun and make a special creation. Here is the yarn!
Dyeing Roving in Crayola Colors!
More winter fun!! Dyeing bright colors in Vermont cheered up a gray day! These babydoll sheep wool/alpaca braids will be available on April 27th at the CT Sheep & Wool Festival!
Teeswater Locks!
It was worth the wait for Teeswater Locks from The Yellow Farm! After spinning the locks and knitting them in a few rows. This is the result!
Crochet Hats!
My new skill this winter was to learn to make crochet hats. After some modifications I came up with some instructions to make different sizes and to add crochet flowers too. I dyed some lovely alpaca and have set up kits to be sold at CT Sheep & Wool Festival on April 27th!
Afghan Presentation to Scarlet And Family!
Scarlet, J.T. and Maureen (mother, son, grandchild) all were blown away with the kindness of strangers bringing them comfort.
Knitters, Crocheters, Spinners Make Care Squares!
Sadly our friend Scarlet lost her son, Jesse Lewis on 12/14/2012. Soundview Knitting Guild, Orange Arts and Crafts Guild, Facebook friends around the world and our local fiber artists and farmers made Care Squares to be assembled into an Afghan full of love and support.
Blizzard 2013
It took 3 hours to dig to the animals barn. What a sight to see all of the animals peaking out of the barn!
